    The Atlantic Inn is a hidden gem. The rooms are unique, clean and well maintained. From the moment we drove up Katie and Mitch made us feel at home which continued throughout our entire stay. The location is central to restaurants, shops, and a short walk to the beach. The ferry terminal to Ocracoke Island is a short drive from the Inn and it was very easy to take over for a splendid daytrip to Ocracoke Island. The breakfast each morning was an amazing addition. We enjoyed waking up, drinking coffee on the front porch, then sitting down for a delicious, warm breakfast. A great way to start the day! We will return to continue to enjoy this charming Inn, cordial Inn Keepers, and all that the area offers.

Literally everything was perfect: fresh, delicious homemade cookies at reception upon arrival, the kindest innkeepers showed us around, a welcoming common room with games and a restaurant-worthy breakfast!

The inn itself is charming, peaceful, and perfectly located, but it's the hospitality from Katie and Mitch that truly sets this place apart. Beds are so comfy too!

    A unique place to stay. The hosts made me feel welcomed and appreciated as a guest, rather than as just another stranger passing through. My room was clean and comfortable. Their breakfasts are varied and filling. Plenty of room to relax outside of your room, both indoors and out, if you so choose.
